Standard e-mail to Potential Partners

Dear Co-Conspirators,

Here is a standard email template you can use in case you are planning to send emails to your friends and potential partners to promote "the Week"
______________________________________________________________

Dear Potential Partner,

From November 17 - 23, 2008, countries all around the world are joining together to carry the banner of Global Entrepreneurship Week, or "the Week".

"The Week" is an initiative aimed at young people everywhere.

During "the week" of November 17 - 23, 2008, partner organizations will conduct a range of activities - from simple speeches to comprehensive competitions - designed to inspire, connect, inform, mentor and engage the next generation of entrepreneurs.

The Week is a worldwide initiative that is linking all those willing to embrace it.

Host organizations in each participating country are recruiting partners and coordinating related activities. The exact type of these activities, whether online or face-to-face, is limited only by the imaginations of the partners and the participants. And while a list of suggested activities such as invention competitions, entrepreneurship film festivals, networking events, school-based activities, and local entrepreneurship summits - will be available on the website, the actual activities conducted by partners will vary greatly.

And while it may be global in scope, at its heart, the Week is a local initiative that reflects the customs and entrepreneurial culture of each community.

In Malaysia, we too are participating in this exciting week. Our Malaysian host, Warisan Global Sdn.Bhd. (www.warisanglobal.com) is organizing and coordinating various activities throughout the country with partner organizations.

Currently MDeC, Cradle Investment Programme, Modal Perdana, Kementerian Tenaga Air dan Komunikasi, The Technopreneurs Association of Malaysia, the New Entrepreneur Forum, and many more organizations are already in as partners. More are joining everyday.

I write to seek your participation to be part of this growing global community of entrepreneurs.

This is not altruism nor is this a fund raising or sponsorship seeking campaign. There is a hard-edged, economic benefit to promoting entrepreneurship on an international level.

To become a partner organization is easy. All you have to do are 3 simple things:

1.Register as a partner at www.gewmalaysia.com or www.unleashingideas.org

2. Design a simple activity that aims to achieve the objectives of "the week" and organize the activities during the week.

Alternatively if you already are organizing an activity that is entrepreneurial in nature during that week,, just co-brand it as a GEW activity and leverage on the global recognition; and FINALLY

3. Get the message out. Tell the media and anyone you know about "the week"

If you are already excited but you are not so sure what real activity you can do, worry not - go to the above sites and you will have loads of resources to tap from. Or else contact , the email sender, Dash or Vivien from Warisan Global, the Country Host. Our numbers are, ..........., 012-2088 743 and 016 2286 281 respectively.

Thank you.
