I met an amazing group of people today.Inventors, innovators, and creators of various innovative products.
It was a networking session at MACRI - Malaysian Association of Creativity & Innovation.
I was invited to give a presentation on the "the Week".
Ramesh Pillai of MACRI introduced me briefly to the group.
Vivian and I then presented the Global Entrepreneurship Week promo video and our PowerPoint presentation on what the week was about.
Members asked many questions. Some wanted to know if there is a fee payable to be a partner. Answer: NO.
Is there a fee payable to me or my company to get on board to organize activities for themselves: NO.
Are there any central events taking place - YES and NO. Some are held at some central locations, some are everywhere.

One of the members even suggested we should have a physical calendar printed. I think this is a great idea.
I wish someone comes along to sponsor the printing of the calendar. We can help with the design.
Many members also offered to help out by reaching out to their friends, contacts and business association. This is great. To spread the message. To get on the "buzz" !
I truly had a great time - meeting some really cool people. Many of them are "shaping the innovation and creativity" landscape in Malaysia in their own quiet and productive way.
MACRI is now a supporter of "the Week". As i was mingling with my newly made friends there, i already saw the "thinking wheels turning". Some members were already shaping the activity they plan to do during the week.
The energy was immense. I am looking forward eagerly for MACRI and her members to do something truly "out of the box" during "the Week". I am sure they will. Welcome aboard MACRI !
