The Technopreneurs Association of Malaysia or TeAM launched their much awaited book yesterday in a stylish restaurant in the city centre.
The book is titled "Going For Broke. Tales of Entrepreneurship". It is authored by our famous journo turned blogger turned researcher and entrepreneur, Oon Yeoh.
The book is about 21 successful entrepreneurs who have beaten the odds to be where they are today. An inspiring journey of some of our very own Malaysia Boleh entrepreneurs.
Also 4 of these featured successful entrepreneurs will be having intimate "Sharing sessions with an Entrepreneur" at Times Bookstore in the Pavillion during the GEW week.
Speakers for these sessions are:
David Oh, CEO Mindvault- 17/11
Chris Chan, CEO TMS -18/11
Stephen Chia, CEO Bizsurf - 20/11
Chris Thiagarajah (not in the book but a succesful entrep) CEO Skybus - 21/11, and
Ritakamal Sadiman, MD Technology Innovation Resources - 22/11
Anyone interested in hearing their entrepreneurial journey can RSVP gew@warisanglobal.com as seats are very limited!
The launch ceremony of the book itself was part of a pre-GEW activity.
(The GEW buntings are there but not captured in the photo - I am looking for some photos where they are captured)
Anyone who is keen to buy the book, you will be able to do so at some of the GEW events where TeAM will have someone selling them.
Good luck to the 21 - may the force be with them.
Congratulations to TeAM and the entrepreneurs in Going For Broke.
