Mr Jonathan Ortmans President GEW, Senior Fellow Kauffman - in KL on the 19th

Mr Jonathan Ortmans, President of the Global Entrepreneurship Week and Senior Fellow of the Kauffman Foundation flew into KL on Tue, 18th night.

He looked rather beat but was cheerful. The airline lost his bag. So it took a bit of time for him to emerge at the arrival hall.

Mr Ortmans was travelling from the US to Auckland and to Sydney and then Singapore and from there to KL. All in a period of about 3 days.

Jonathan's schedule in KL I must admit, was a punishing one. I wanted to ensure he had maximum interaction with the entrepreneurial community and the feeling from them was also mutual - everyone wanted a piece of him !

He seemed to have enjoyed the day - he was fully engaged and engaging.

The day started with a 15 minute breakfast at leading hotel in KL where he was staying. We then sped off in the limo to speak at the Cradle to Kauffman session which was from 8.30am to 11.30am.

We got there at 9am and the CEO of Cradle, Nazrin Hassan and his team was there to greet MR Ortmans. There was a briefing on Cradle by Nazrin and his team.

We were then joined by the President and VC of UNITAR - Prof.Datuk Dr. Md.Zabid Abdul Rahman.

The session began with a short remark from me, a speech from the CEO of Cradle, a speech from the President of Unitar and finally Jonathan.

This was followed by a Q & A with Jonathan. We had an almost packed hall - may asked questions .

They were not letting him go..until i had to intervene and get him back into the car.

Mr Ortmans was engaging and had an equally captive audience.

This event was sponsored by Cradle, Unitar and TeAM.
