Another Interview with Astro Awani

Astro Awani invited me today to be on the panel to discuss the impact of the global financial crisis, entrepreneurship and employment.

On the panel with me were other learned and experienced people and our compere Nazir is an old hand in handling any situation that can potentially become controversial !

We had an active audience in the young people.

It was a recorded program - will be informed later when the program will be aired.

We were asked many questions pertaining to the place of entrepreneurship in the given situation. My co-panelists gave their views. My view was - an enterprising behaviour can be developed, regardless of the financial crisis.

However, I said one should be aware of the crisis and take necessary measures.

Employees need to learn how to create value, multi-task and become more results driven.

Entrepreneurs have to learn how to reinvent themselves and move out of the comfort zone.

Young graduates have to change their mindset and take any job to gain experience and not be too choosy..

As for the policymakers, "the Wayang should End" and we must all get on with work !

Ultimately, results matter. Everything else is best effort and good intentions.

Cheers
